Crumb-Topped Mushrooms For a Crowd

2 packages (12 oz each) butter flavored crackers, crushed, divided
1 C butter or margarine, melted
4-1/2 # fresh mushrooms, thickly sliced
3 C whipping cream
1 t paprika

Toss 3 C of cracker crumbs with butter; set aside.

Divide half of the mushrooms between three greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dishes. Sprinkle with unbuttered crumbs; top with remaining mushrooms. Pour cream over all. Sprinkle with buttered crumbs and paprika.

Bank, uncovered, at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

Yield: 50-60 servings
