6 chocolate cupcakes (no frosting)
2-3 cups chocolate chip or vanilla ice cream
1 10 oz jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
Slice cupcakes in half horizonally.
Place in a single layer on tray lined with wax paper. Cover with wax paper and freeze for one hour.
For each serving, place cupcake bottom in dessert dish, top with scoop of ice cream, cherry, cupcake top, and scoop of ice cream.
