German Potato Salad

2 pounds Red Potatoes
6 slices Bacon
1/2 Cup finely Chopped Onion
1/3 Cup Vinegar
1/2 Cup Water
1 t Sugar
1/2t Pepper

Cook potatoes. Slice and place in bowl.

Cook bacon in skillet until crisp; set aside.

Saute onion in drippings until tender. Stir in vinegar, water, sugar and pepper. Cook one minute; add bacon and cook until heated.

Pour over potatoes, toss gently.
